Today is Epiphany. Although I got out for a walk and some photos and even amidst all the grey of the last few days, found a bit of colour in the sky, briefly, to remind me of Epiphany I took pictures of my tiny kings from the ceramic Peruvian nativity set before I put them away. The tallest of these figures is about 6cm tall, the smallest about 5cm, the background is on the tablet, and I need to practise using my tablet as a light source more to use backdrops that work.
Three good things
1. Lots of thanks for the homemade chocolates I gave as presents this Christmas
2. I managed to cover up the white branch we used as a Christmas tree and store it the roof space for next year.
3. My daughter traced off the jeans pattern she wants to make: lots of patterns come with several sizes and patterns overlaid on a page, and need tracing off for the pattern required.
(I originally put this up in colour, but wasn't happy with it, so I've gone back and converted to black and white. I can see I'll be producing a lot of black and white images.)
