For the Dogwood challenge week 5 Composition: Symmetry Landscape
Landscape is one of the most practiced type of photography. Use Symmetry in a Landscape to create a new viewpoint for this week's image.
About the Compositional Eye category:
“In past challenges we have explored the rules of composition. This year we push the rules even further by using them in specific ways to train your compositional eye.”
This is the same drive as last week, taken from a different vantage point as the same guy who was creosoting the fence on the left had parked his car so that it would feature prominently. Last time his car was tucked out of sight further up. Also in b&w as @vignouse asked what that would look like.
Three good things:
1. Got out for this walk again - which I do love - in sunny albeit cold weather;
2. Stood watching a charm of goldfinches on some teasels for a while - and got some photos because I was so close;
3. The nasty bug is departing because I had energy for boring things like cleaning
Thank you for looking and for putting my favourite tree on the PP, you're all wonderful. I prefer to look at pictures of people who post here, rather than thank you individually.
