Get Pushed 351

This is for this week's Get Pushed for which this week I was challenged by @alannascanlon who said:

Your challenge is to do do macro photography. Take some pics of an everyday object and create a collage. See if you can elevate this object to an unrecognizable jewel-like perspective. Have fun!

The collage is made up of four pictures of the same household object which I have colorized to make a bit more interesting, the original colour is in the background.

Three good things:
1. My daughter was a bit better today, not good, but not worrying whether to call an ambulance or not;
2. I coped better with having to stay around all day.
3. We met the new neighbours very scaredy-cat

Thank you for looking and all your wonderful comments and favs. I prefer to spend time looking at your pictures and commenting rather than thanking you individually below.

Well done- I think I know what it is, but I like the fact that I can't be absolutely certain! That is an abstract in the truest sense!

Creative photography and editing.
I'm so sorry about the worries over your daughter. I'm not certain of her issues but I feel for the both of you having such challenges from day to day.

You met the challenge in a creative way! It definitely has a jewel-like appearance, especially with the teal tint! Glad your daughter is improving.

An intriguing challenge and your collage tackles it in a creative way - and no, I don't know what it is. I do hope you tell us at some point!

Intriguing images, I'm wondering if it could be a grater?

It looks great but I have no idea what it is.

You certainly did turn this object into a jewel. Your processing is excellent.
Well done and a great response to a tough challenge!
Hope your daughter is on the mend - so stressful when our children are not well.

LOVE this.

@olivetreeann @northy @sangwann @merrelyn @jacqbb @jamibann @farmreporter thank you all for your responses - it's a grater - this one is shaped like a truncated cone with a handle on top and three different grating plates - I'm looking at the widest grater holes either focussing there or through at the finer graters behind

I had to get to your response comments to see what it was! Love the colour

hi Shanne... we are paired for get pushed this coming week... how would you feel about working on an image that focuses on form and light/shadow? something along the lines of Edward Weston's work - although black and white is optional... https://www.google.com/search?q=edward+weston+images&client=safari&rls=en&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjb39eHkeLhAhVNEawKHV6zB7wQ_AUIDigB&biw=1245&bih=648

let me know if that doesn't work for you and i'll come up with something else...

You nailed this for sure! I had to look through the comments to see what it was too:)

You did an amazing job on this challenge! It looks great and I cannot I denitrify your subject except to say you excelled in this challenge. I, on the other hand, was very sick this week and I must apologize as I failed to accomplish my challenge with my scene. I plan to give it a go next week when I am feeling better and am not in hospital. So sorry😢.
