I spent last night in New York City. I saw my friend Jeff Hysen perform his stand-up comedy and went out to a late dinner with friends. I had a 5K to run in the City this morning, and felt that it didn't pay to take a late train home only to have to take a very early train back a few hours later.
As I prepared for this morning's race, this was the view out my window.
Getting the shot was harder than it would seem, because the windows in my hotel room would only open a very small amount. This was the best I could get under the circumstances.
But window frames aside, it really was a spectacular view!
