Tree cluster

This group of trees with their own stone wall are somewhere between Doune and Thornhill. I shall be back in different seasons and times of day as I like their silhouette and the aspect is right for sunsets.
Lovely shot. Good idea to return

Love the lines of the crops leading your eye to the dyke. Which Thornhill? I shall have to look it up, see if you're near me.

Love how the crop lines lead you up the slope to those fab tree skeletons at the top. Definitely looking forward to seeing these featured again.

@mothermalarky It's the Thornhill near Stirling
@flowerfairyann @365projectorgchristinewebb @aat3877 @thimblelady @christophercox @jomo I've just discovered that the wall encloses an ancient, Iron Age I think, burial cairn and there are remains of a broch nearby too, so I shall definitely be back. Thank you your lovely comments.

Look at those lovely sprouting shoots of the crop (whatever it is!) Those trees are a wonderful architectural feature on that landscape, accentuated by the lines of the crop.
