These chimneys will never again be belching forth sulphurous sooty smoke, no doubt to the relief of the locals. In fact the only emission from the top of the chimneys, if you look carefully, is a high level shrub. Nature, with the help of the man-made golf course in the foreground, has softened what was once a severe industrial landscape
