Another hot day – we really are having a “proper” summer art last, and I think that those in the UK will agree that it is about time (with apologies to those in Scotland who may not have had quite the warmth that those of us further south have enjoyed). It was a late walk with the dogs, up and around the quarry, a warm balmy evening, with the perfect photogenic evening sunlight that eventually evolved into a gorgeous sunset. Not surprisingly a walk that usually takes 45 minutes actually took an hour and a half this evening. Shepherdman’s Wife tells me that I take too many grassy photographs, but with the sun behind these grasses, who could resist a photograph or two? In fact I took quite a few, kneeling across the footpath, and looked up to see a mountain biker waiting patiently with dogs for me to finish. Bless him.
