The wind is once again howling in the chimney, the fields are flooded, and I was considering whether to use a recent photo taken in English wind and rain, all drippy and dreary, or to browse for a “fill in”. Then this appeared on my screen saver and immediately cheered me up – Lake Superior on the Canadian-USA border. Hope you don’t mind me sharing this image from a few years ago, when we stopped here while travelling between Canadian and U.S family members. @shepherdmanswife and I watched as the fog rolled in across the Lake, and then after dark we listened to incredibly noisy bullfrogs, and watched fireflies in the undergrowth. No wonder the memory cheered me up.
Love the mist with trees peeking though. I like the choice of just having a bit of the water show off the point with the ripples radiating from the point, maybe one of those noisy bullfrog jumped in.
