The beans, planted a month or so ago, are coming along nicely –acres of two inch green shoots neatly drilled in lines, here almost glowing in the golden light just after sunrise, and leading to what is left of the old brick barn in the field behind our home. The last time I posted a photo taken from this spot the lines leading to the old barn were post-harvest round straw bales, and summer was about to start waning. August is a wonderful month, warm and lazy, but with a tinge of regret that good times will soon be over. At this time of the year walks are cool and fresh, with threats of downpours, but this comes with a promise of better things to come. I love to see the seasonal changes in the countryside, and on 365 I get to see this around the world!
