We had promised Mother-Of- @shepherdmanswife hours of sitting in the sunshine in front of the Welsh cottage where were staying, watching the light changing across the hills, maybe enjoying a glass of wine while basking in the warmth. The weather was typically Welsh, and the view was more commonly veils of rain passing in front of misty mountains. Thanks to a brisk wind, any bright patches passed over quickly. At least thanks to modern technology combined with Welsh-mountain microclimates, I was able to check the weather various destinations and we were always able to find somewhere dry. I am pleased to say that we returned home with a happy and content Mother-Of-@shepherdmanswife, and loads of “Brownie Points” which should keep us in her good books for a while…
