We like to just potter on holiday, exploring and enjoying whatever we come across. We followed a narrow lane that eventually wound its way to the coast, overlooking a quiet beach where someone was leading a horse into the shallows of the sea below. I was commanded to stop and @shepherdmanswife set to with her camera and tripod, while I took Tia for a walk along the beach. Tia is not too sure about this sea stuff that runs towards her as she leaps out of the way, but at least it has the decency to retreat when barked at. But then, when she looks away, it sneaks up behind her again. All very disconcerting.Incidentally that is not some sort of memorial behind @shepherdmanswife. It is a lifebuoy.
