We spotted this horse in the sea, with the "white horses" of breaking waves behind, as we were exploring after a grey day in Berwick. Following a country lane that headed in the direction of the coast, we rounded a bend as the sun came out and a view of this beach opened up before us, an expanse sun sea and sand below the dunes that fell away from the lane . The horse was being led through the shallows for some reason, maybe treating a foot injury, but it was soon walked back through the dunes to a horsebox, allowing the dogs to have a run on the sand. @shepherdmanswife still managed several equine shots – I believe that at least one made it onto the 365 project. This was our first beach experience of the trip, and, like most of the beaches that we visited on the North East Coast, it was almost deserted. Perfect.
