This morning Tia and I set off in rain, which got heavier as the wind got stronger Tia kept running ahead to back into the hedge for shelter from driving rain - she must have learned that in her street-dog days. What a contrast this evenings walk was – a clear sky, and still quite light at 4.30pm, with a full moon rising over the village of Huncote. All routes were soggy, and this quarry track was coated with a 4 inch layer of brown porridge, interspersed with large puddles. We were glad top retreat to a grassy field edge, still squelchy, but at least clean.
I can get a good focused moon, but never managed a good moon and foreground to date
