Salmon sky by shepherdman

Salmon sky

Worked at home today, and so managed to the evening dog walk in daylight - well at least to start with. The sun had just set as we set off, leaving a glorious salmon-pink sky, reflected in the bark of the bare trees, the branches gently glowing against the darker eastern sky. Too subtle for me to photograph, but certainly appreciated by the naked eye.
Wonderful colour and silhouettes

It is a beautiful sky, and I also like the way you have framed the pylons. I think the silhouettes emphasise the colours.

Lovely framing of the second pylon with the nearer pylon. The sky was a gorgeous colour tonight.

Like the contrasts between natures' trees and man's receding pylons: great observation and capture.

Wonderful! Love the composition as well as the colors. Love how you took the high-voltage towers - normally considered ugly and something to be avoided at all costs - and made them into a great addition to a photo.

That sky is beautiful - stunning colors and the silhouetted towers work so well with it.

Apart from the obvious prettiness of the sky, I like the man made and natural geometries, side by side. Very well done.

The sky really is a beautiful colour but I love the natural and man-made trees silhouetted against it.
