I admit it. Not taken today. Or even recently. This morning we had the lightest of a dusting of snow on the Hill, only visible on short turf and the bare soil of mole hills, which, on a dull non-photogenic dawn, got me thinking of how long it is since we had a proper covering of snow. It is 2 or 3 years since we had snow deep enough for sledging, and we havent had a reasonable depth of snow for longer than that. just weeks after we moved into our home at the bottom of the Hill. The heating didn't work, the electrics were dodgy, and just a few days before this photo was taken, the flat roof over the bathroom collapsed into the bath. Happy days....
