River Conway at Llanrwst. We had been shopping at Betws-y-Coed (hope you are all having fun with imagining the pronunciation of these Welsh place names), a village with many outdoor clothing shops, where even I am happy to browse. We decided to head north to Conwy for a seaside ice cream. The route took us through Llanrwst, where the road crossed over the River Conwy, and we stopped to explore the village, and never got any further, enjoying a riverside walk, and then a riverside cream tea. Why move on?
