The roller that once rolled the village cricket green, the green and outfield long since moved to the village recreation ground, sharing the space, out of season, with football clubs. The orginal green is now used for occasional sheep grazing , dotted with trees, and, since the Millenium, managed by the Woodand Trust, re-named Croft Glebe.
