@shepherdmanswife and I strolled along the "New Hill", above the quarry, planning to descend the steps to the wildlife pond. By the time that we reached the steps @shepherdmanswife decided that maybe she wouldn't visit the pond, since what goes down must come up, and her legs were already aching, and so it was just Tia and I that discovered the boardwalk, normally stretching over the pond, was now, thanks to recent rain, inches under the surface.
You must be getting a lot of rain like we see on the news for Paris. Fab shot. @shepherdmanswife probably wishes she had seen this though I totally get the up and down thing.
