Ribblehead Viaduct by shepherdman

Ribblehead Viaduct

Since we were in the area a visit to the iconic Ribblehead railway viaduct in Yorkshire was compulsory. Seen here with cavers returing from a trip to local caves. I tried caving twice, and found the experience dark, very wet, and claustrophobic. I don't think that I will bother again.
Spectacular viaduct... and that's how I felt about caving too!

A very tall viaduct. I like the use of the bikers to give perspective to the photo.

A great place for photographers. The people give it a sense of scale - the viaduct is really high!

Great point of view! I like the repeated arches, and I agree that the cavers really add to perspective.
