Drilling a spring cereal in the field on the far side of the Lane. At least I assume that it is a spring cereal - it might be a late drilling of a winter-sown crop, although I think that winter cereals need a period of cold to germinate. Come to think about it, dont even know that it is a cerial. No footpaths across this field, and so I can't go and investigate any spilled seed, as I do when the fields behind are drilled.
