Storm Alex by shepherdman

Storm Alex

Finally got around to looking through some images for a recent(ish) Cornish holiday. Storm Alex arrived a day or so after us, and @shepherdmanswife wanted photos of crashing waves. The problem, of course, was that either we walked miles along a storm swept headland, or found an accessible harbour, which would obviously be sheltered. We opted for Boscastle, where there was a short walk in lashing rain to where waves could be seen from the harbour entrance.
It was a very wet holiday, but we had fun nevertheless!

I can see so many details in this photo. Of course the waves and spray, the mist in the air, the wetness on the rocks and the wonderful patterns and textures of those rocks.

I know this spot very well. Been many times in sunshine and rain! I have had so many lovely holidays in the area.

Those rocks look rather slippery - all glossy with rain. Glad you kept safe!
