Got you! by shepherdmanswife

Got you!

This is Tabby, our Devon Rex. She is a Black Smoke and getting on in years as she will be 13 on Oct 31st. She is still super agile though.
Her full name is Tabitha, the witches cat, as she was born on Halloween, but we call her Tabby for short. The title 'got you' is because she will not pose for the camera. The camera comes out and she either walks right up to the lens or walks away! Got her this time though. One has to be ready and very quick.
I find that people either love the breed or find them totally ugly as they have this pixie face and short curly soft undercoat with no top coat. A bit like Marmite really. Either you love it or you hate it.
Personally I love the Devon Rex breed, especially Tabby, not only for their looks but for their temperament.

I am shocked that my red Gerbera has made PP and can only say a big thank you to all of you that helped put it there. You are all so supportive. I was stunned by the fantastic, kind, supportive words made when commenting on my selfie. Wow, I really do have friends out there. You're all wonderful.
What a shot of this truly magnificent face. A real face full of character. Me? I love 'em!

She is beautiful and this is a great portrait of her! I love the soft green of her eyes. I can't stand Marmite but I think Tabby is lovely. Tristan and I both feel that this shot is fav-worthy. Congrats on the gerbera making the PP, its appearance there is totally deserved!
