I am so fed up of going to work in the dark and getting home in the dark. So little opportunity to take outdoor photos. Time to think outside the box!
This morning I was running a little late, it was still dark but the sky was starting to lighten as the sun broke the horizon. I went to get in my car and suddenly noticed our Prunus tree that stands next to our night light (so people can find our house down our dark lane at night). It was beautifully lit by the lamp and so had to go back into the house and get my camera. Here's the result. So I was even later for work, but I think it was worth it.
I can't believe that @shepherdman , later on in the day, had the same idea and took a picture of it under sunlight! He was still in bed when I took mine! I guess we are on the same wavelength!
What a wonderful surprise to be told by my 365 friends that ole blue eyes (Muffin, our cat) made it to 2nd place in the TT this week. Wow, amazing! What an achievement. I'm so pleased. Thank you everyone for making Muffin famous!
Congrats on the TT! That is very special! Its going to get worse, you know - this getting up in the dark and home in the dark but only for another month!
This is a lovely shot, congrats on the TT too. I know what you mean about the outdoor opportunities, right now I'm limited to London night street photography! Longing for easy light to work with ! :)
This is just lovely, that tapestry of leaves behind the lamp is so colourful, has to be a fav for me! Congrats to you and to Muffin, her picture absolutely deserves to be where it is!
