It's strange what you see when out on a slow dog walk with Lesia and her poorly leg. I didn't expect to see this feather. It was a small soft feather that was still slightly frozen after the frost last night.

I don't usually like black and white but I think it suits this photo.
Beautifully done! Love the drops of water on the thawing feather, the detail and sharpness in the front as it fades to a softer focus, and I do agree that the B&W suits this simple but powerful image.
Just gorgeous. That's a fav for me. (Someone told me many years ago that when you come across a white feather it's because your guardian angel is nearby!).
