Every which way oil effect

I was having fun with a wide angle lens instead of my usual favourite macro just to see if I could get different look.
This is not quite what I had in mind but I like it.

You used the effect in such a subtle way, that I have to say I prefer this. The overall image is very eye-catching, the flowers emerging from pure black... It's almost like a photoillustration to begin with, and that's why it the oil paint effect work so well. IMO anyway :) Have a fav.

Beautiful colour and composition, an unusual pov, and it looks wonderful on black. I think I have a slight preference for this one. Those tulips are just the same lovely colour as some which grow in my parents' garden. This is a fav for me!
