at Lake Minnewanka. What a great name for a lake!
This was one of the few trees that had leaves turning orange as most trees were coniferous or deciduous that went yellow before leaf drop.
I am loving all your shots and now I really want to go back! I think the kayak or whatever it is is a little distracting but still such a beautiful image.
@allred3 you're so right. Lake Minnewanka is a glacial lake located in the eastern area of Banff National Park in Canada, about five kilometres northeast of the Banff townsite.
I wish I was with you, as I have said before, The Rockies in Canada has to be the best place I've been to. Another spectacular capture and a FAV from me.
This is such a "yummy" picture!!! There is just something about the clear blue water with the rocks/pebbles visible underneath, the sky beyond, and then the perfect framing by the fiery orange leaves and branches of the tree on the left! Superb....and, another FAV!!
Lovely with the pop of red to the left, love how the reflections lead you to the snowy mountains in the background.
Did you use your wide angle lens for most of your landscape photos of the mountains?
