on Edith Cavell Mountain. The colour of the glacial lake is how it was. I have not changed it at all. This is the glacier front where the glacier is melting. Icebergs can be seen in the lake. There is a cave that can be seen in the photo where melt water was pouring down inside it from higher up the mountain. @shepherdman encouraged me to climb up this mountain which was 2 miles up from the car park to the peak. It took us an hour just to get back down. Can't remember how long it took to get up, but I did have to have several stops to look at the view and take photos (to catch my breath). It was a long hike but well worth the views.
Beautiful place and a beautifully executed shot. Nice crisp detail and lovely color, and interesting composition balance with the contrasting four large swathes of color and texture. Fav.
