Lucky Ladybird... by shepherdmanswife

Lucky Ladybird...

I made a mushroom risotto last night for dinner which required parsley in the recipe. I went down the garden and cut some. I washed it and placed it on the chopping board to cut up when I noticed this ladybird that must have been sleeping within the plant. He soon woke up and started walking around. He's one lucky ladybird. We put him back from whence he came and hope he survives the winter.
So glad you did not chop his head off , but kind enough to return him to the Parsley patch !-- Nicely captured !

I am jealous of your greenery. I just have dead brown stuff here. Thus my fake flower arrangement of hydrangeas and peonies on my table. I am longing for spring. Very nice shot. :)
