I'm posting early for tomorrow as it will be @shepherdman 's birthday and we are planning to go to this ridge in Derbyshire for a walk along the ridge that can barely be seen in this photo as the clouds covered the valley and poured over the ridge. We plan to leave home early for the 2 hour drive to get there. It is about an 8 mile walk along the ridge, far too far for me, but I am promised a stop at a pub where I will treat my other half to a birthday meal, and more importantly for him, a beer or two! This was taken a while ago when I got up at 4am to travel up to Mam Tor to catch the sun rising. As you can see, I wasn't the only photographer there! It was an amazing sight.
