NZ. We were camping from where this was taken. Usually people get to see Mount Cook like this 1 in every 3 days. We saw it 3 out of 4. It was fantastic. We saw it at sunset (already put on) , sunrise and like this. The lake really was this blue!
It's fantastic! I was able to go there once in my lifetime -- and it was covered in mist, and we ended up being one of the last cars let 'off the mountain' before they closed all the roads down. It's amazing to see what it could look like.
