Soup by sherimiya

Soup

Okay, not exactly soup but an assortment of noodles I use in different types of soup. The very thin ones on top are somen and they cook in 2-3 minutes, the pink ones are ume (plum) flavored, the dark ones are buckwheat (not a wheat at all but a pseudocereal and very nutritious), and the thick ones on the bottom are udon, which are chewy and my kids' favorite.
Very cool and lovely tones of color!

@kvphoto That's a page of artwork from a Japanese children's fairy tale book showing a boat sailing through rough water. I liked the gradation of colors.

Thank you for the comment shared on my "Canopy of Gold" forest light image. Appreciate that.
