Okay, not exactly soup but an assortment of noodles I use in different types of soup. The very thin ones on top are somen and they cook in 2-3 minutes, the pink ones are ume (plum) flavored, the dark ones are buckwheat (not a wheat at all but a pseudocereal and very nutritious), and the thick ones on the bottom are udon, which are chewy and my kids' favorite.

All my favourite noodles so beautifully displayed. Not sure if you are aware that we lived in Tokyo for ten years and loved every variety they have there..
