Bathtime by sherimiya

Bathtime

This California Towhee chased a sparrow out of the bath so he could enjoy a good splashing by himself; he stayed for a good 7 minutes too. Can you see the airborne water droplets?
This bird is really enjoying the bath. Great capture of the spray and droplets.

Ha so nice to see. I have a bird bath in the garden but never saw a bird visiting so I haven't filled it up again after summer.

Great shot! Yes - perfect shutter speed to catch the drops and him, nicely! We get towhees and I laugh because they always "dance" in the seed and kick it out, everywhere! Wonderful to see one enjoying a bath!
