Paddlewheel by shesnapped

Paddlewheel

So TODAY at the shipyard, the paddlewheel for our newest cruise boat was moved. It's assembled and painted in one of the hangars, then moved to the water's edge to be installed onto the vessel. An 18-wheeler moves it across the shipyard for us, and the picture gives you an idea of the size of it. I had no idea this was going to take place today. When I heard it over the radio and texted dh, he asked if I was going to get pics. Well duh! Not sure why I didn't think of it myself! Seriously, I didn't even think to do that until he asked......
Cool shot. Sometimes we are just so into what we are doing that we forget to grab the camera.

@joansmor Joan, you'll be thrilled to know that I, like you, am also a bean counter, so my attention rarely goes to what's going on out in the yard. But occasionally I'll hear something that catches my attention, and I sure am glad I did today!

Wow that's enormous, so good that you have got a person in the shot too to give you a sense of the scale.
