Dh sent me off with my camera this afternoon, so I headed to Blackwater, and from there to Taylor's Island. Then I took a road I've never taken before and found myself here at sunset with no real clue where I was. I've heard it said before that not all who wander are lost, but truth be told, I was a little lost, and confused. I could have sworn that I saw a road sign that said Hooper's Island Rd, but I had gone in the opposite direction to Taylor's Island, so how was I on Hooper's Island Rd? Once I found a spot to pull off and look at my Maps, I realized that the road I was on does indeed connect those two roads. Who knew???
Been on a spiritual journey with God lately. He's made clear to me that during some different, very difficult, times in my life, when I thought I was all alone, He was actually right there with me, carrying me through, because, by His nature, He doesn't let us walk through the waters alone. And when we do try to wander away, He pursues us, relentlessly. I'm so grateful that He has pursued me my whole life. I don't remember a time in my life when He was not a part of it. I can't imagine life without Him.
