What I love about Norman Rockwell’s work is how everyone in the picture is doing SOMETHING. And this photo from Christmas morning breakfast has that same feel - there’s something about every person in this photo that says something about that moment.
I’ve spent 5 days trying to process this to get just the right flavor, and I finally got it there, although dh pointed out that NR doesn’t have any abstract exterior doors. Oh well. On the big screen, this has a Norman Rockwell painted feel. Hope it shows thru the same if you’re viewing it on a little screen.
@alophoto No, no set up. We were just sitting there having breakfast and I thought ‘I need to get a shot of this.’ When I downloaded all the photos from the day, this just stood out as the candidate for The Photo because of the bright light and because of all the ‘characters’.
