Hive of activity by shirleybankfarm

Hive of activity

The weather forecast is for rain tomorrow so suddenly the hay field became a hive of activity. The tractor on the left is rowing up the hay. The middle on is baling the hay into little square bales and the one on the right is baling it into big round bales. The age old saying 'make hay while the sun shines' is very true
Busy, busy, busy. Clever you catching all three tractors in one photo. You can't best the smell of new hay and I hope it's all in the barn before the rain.

No hay fluffer Shirley? LOL I know it's the same way here at the horse farm!! The hay after it has been cut and stay a few days unless there is rain on the way and then everything stops until the hay is baled and taken up!!! Love this capture and watching the tractors each do their own thing!! FAV!

We did managed to get all our hay undercover before the rain came which is always a relief. We had a hectic two days but that's farming in England for you.
