Not really what you expect to see in a field in the north of England. There is a small farm approx 3 miles for us that specialize in alpacas. Brilliant capture, they all posed so well for you! We have quite a few alpaca farms around here - and llamas too. Many local farmers just have a couple of llamas amongst their sheep too, as they are good protection for lambs at that time of year.
I love these. Saw some at a show in June and they were full of character and hadn't been shorn. They do make such a funny sound thought. Great shot Shirley.
You might not expect to see them in northeastern Pennsylvania either- but there is a farm of them near here too. Great shot- I love all the curious stares! fav
