Where I live

This is a shot of part of our farm with the village on the left. The house is in the centre of the picture and some of our buildings on the right. The buildings you can see are the older buildings, we have some larger and newer ones further up the hill to the right.
Great shot!

It all looks so sheltered and historic! A wonderful place to live - among the green fields!

Beautiful Shirley, a very traditional English country scene. The very best place to live & nice that you are near the village too. Company is good sometimes. The first farm I lived on where my husband was brought up was in the middle of fields with no other house in view. If it was foggy we couldn't see a thing. Lonely place sometimes, I was glad to move to a more civilised place! The other was nicer country though!

super picture, love the older buildings but they are not really suitable for today's farming ways.

@memoriesbydawn @maggiemae @roachling @hermann @happypat @brillomick @barneyone @onewing @tunia @terryliv @tonydebont @peterlgrave @bkbinthecity @ingrid_marianna @kimdavis @deborah63 @claireuk Wow your kind people have once more got me a shot on the PP, thank you. We are very lucky to live in such a beautiful area.Louise it is gorgeous on a sunny day, but pretty bleak when the wind is howling and the rain pouring and it is hitting the front of the house as if somebody is standing in the garden with a hose pipe turned on it. Pat, we are close enough to the village to be part of it, but also far enough out to be peaceful.

This is such a beautiful location - It so much looks a part of old England. Like how you put it that you were close enough to the village to be part of it, but far enough away to be peaceful - ideal!
