Today has been cold the temperature never made it above freezing. Most of the snow has gone from our side of the valley, melted by the sun yesterday. Things might be different here tomorrow as it is now snowing quite hard. This shot was on the other side of the valley heading towards Shap just after dinner.
I love to see stone walls and these certainly stand out, marking the fields, on your snowy landscape. Hope there is not too much snow to make it even harder work on the farm.
Saturday 7pm started snowing here too, supposed to be travelling 90 miles to see great niece baptised in the morning, hope it clears. Love the pic and very apt caption.
@roachling@flowerfairyann@dizzyd@cutekitty@barneyone@maggiemae Thank you all for taking the time to look at and comment on my shot. Maggiemae and Helen, they are all dry stone walls that you can see around the fields. Rita, I hope you make it to your great nieces baptism.
@tunia@gijsje@hermann@leestevo@inthecloud5@memoriesbydawn@onewing Thank you all for your comments. It has been cold today, in fact it has hardly been above freezing all day. We have had quite a bit more snow tonight, hopefully it will still be nice in the morning.
Love the composition with the sheep in the foreground, fav
