Lovely to see this creativity through the markings on the tree and cracked bark. I wonder if the bark finally sheds to white until the whole cycle repeats.
@ethelperry Interesting thoughts. I have observed it from season to season but did not keep track of the results. However, I am fascinated by the layers and colors that it reveals.
