Natural lines and patterns

The mushroom was toppled over so I put it on the stone wall to take a photo of the detail. I never noticed before that the spots on the stones have a snowflake like pattern.

Nice shot- the roots are a little distracting but the focus on the mushroom ridges and the spots is a really strong detail.

@olivetreeann I debated going back out to get a shot without roots. I think the “snowflakes” distracted me.
