Gears

With all the busyness of getting ready for Christmas, I haven't had the time to purposefully seek out a gear to photograph and I could not recall having seen any. This is an old toy egg beater that was my wife's when she was a little girl that she offered as a subject.

Was there actually several speeds with this egg beater? I only remember the tired speed when I had gone on forever!

Gosh I remember these arm aching job that my Mother always thought I would enjoy. At least that was how she put it to me! Great capture

@maggiemae - Yes these were multiple speed egg beaters, but that depended completely on how energetic the user was! ;-)

@kategoring - Thank you Kate! My wife actually has two of them. This is the smaller of the two and only 5 inches long. I don't know if they still make these for young cooks or not?
