Amish Farmland

We are going through a very unseasonably warm spell. The snow has been gone for a week and buds are showing on some of the trees and small bushes. I wanted to try out the new lens on something other than birds for a change.
Thank you all so much for viewing, commenting and the faves for my, "The Bird Dares. . ." photo and for its brief stint on the PP!
Very nice shot, Skip. Like the way you've composed this and its great colors. The bare trees looks super in this setting. Fav

Oh how lovely! It is a little odd, isn't it that the trees are trying to bloom and winter has hardly begun!

@Weezilou - We have only had a few bouts of winter. I was surprised last night when the weatherman said that we were above average with snowfall, but that is because of what we got during one week in December. I hope it does not stay warm so the buds open more then get bitterly cold.

The grass certainly adds a nice pop of colour that you wouldn't get had the ground been snow covered.

Superb scene and processing.

This is beautiful! I love the trees softening the lines of the barn and the splash of green on the otherwise subtle tones. Very peaceful.

What a beautiful shot! Winter has been on and off here too. We had flurries today but it was too warm for them to stick.

@olivetreeann - Same here. The ground here has a light coating because it was still warm from the high temps we've been having. But a few miles north of us, the snow belt, got 3 inches.
