It was a beautiful day so my wife and I decided to take the dog for a walk in the park. During our walk, I saw the bluebirds were out and sitting on one of the birdhouses provided by a local Boy Scout Troop. However, the bluebirds wouldn't cooperate. Earlier I noticed the moon and at a point, I happened to look up and saw this plane heading towards the moon.
"Fly me to the moon and let me play among the stars......" Always amazes me when I look up that God knows all their names. This is a fabulous shot, instant fav.
@taffy - It is a composite. When I looked up at the moon the plane was crossing its face. But I didn't have my camera with me at the time. There were a lot of planes that evening so I took a picture of the and one of the airplanes and created what I had seen earlier.
impressive! I saw something similar last week and, like you, had no time to act. Not being as smart as you and with far less plane activity where I live I had to settle for the memory of instead of the picture of!
@grammyn - Thank you for the kind compliment Katy. I have watched a lot of tutorials on YouTube and learned how to use PhotoShop and how to do a composite. It's not so much smarts as being able to follow another's directions!
@bintal - I am sorry Sylvia if you feel that I mislead you. That wasn't my intention. I didn't include that fact in my commentary as I didn't think it was pertinent to how the photo came about. Not everyone that creates a composite mentions that fact even though you usually can tell. If I truly wanted to mislead I wouldn't have answered Taffy's.
