It's odd how this came about. My wife brought me a sticky bun to eat and the circular layers caught my attention. I got out my macro lens and took a shot. After eating the yummy bun my attention turned to the hibiscus plant where I used the macro lens and used the on-camera flash to bring out the detail, fill in and darken the background.
