I'm not so sure about wearing a pink bra Louise but I don't mind wearing pink shirts. I guess I should add, you never know what I might have on before the month is up though. I believe this shirt was blue when Mom put it on me and just look at it now. It's all for a great cause so I'll do whatever it takes to help out.
Now a note from Mom.
This photo was taken last year to show support for the cause but I thought it would be nice to use for this project. I had a scare myself about 9 years ago. I know the fear that surrounds this disease. I was lucky and my scare was benign. We support Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October and every other month as well over on Sheridan Avenue.
I'm owned by 5 Longhaired Dachshunds. Jack, Jetson, Jordan, Lincoln, & Lego...They are known as the Sheridan Avenue Boys. My 365 Project will be all...
Glad to hear Mom's scare had a happy ending. I'm a cancer survivor (not breast cancer) and I support awareness and research for all cancers. I'll never forget the moment I heard the word "carcinoma" but I have no idea what was said after that. I think I froze, like a deer in headlights. My story, also, has a happy ending. After surgery, etc. I have had no problems since then - that was Spring 2001.
Just when you thought you were running low on creativity! You nailed this on so many levels, but best of all, your personal story with a happy ending! Smooches for the Pooches and for the uplifting visit ;-)
I know some of your photos have been chosen to make into greetings cards. Perhaps the charities for yesterday and today would also be interested in your wonderful take on passing on their message. Just wonderful shots!
