Sorry guys, just can't stop doing landscapes and trees and things with all this sun about. This is a shot of a tree (really?) against the Avon River flood plain ridge near Foxham in Wilts in the early morning sun with some residual frost in the background.
Excellent shot Kev. The misty background is gorgeous and the tree stands there, so lonely. The line in the grass look interesting too. What a shame they didn't lead to the tree (but we can't have everything we wnat in life, can we?)
@steampowered Thanks Paul, you're absolutely right about the lines, but I had to get a sligtly more side on angle otherwise my guess was the whole scene would have been blown out by the sun. There was no hole in the hedge either!
This is beautiful.. everything just works for me..The scenery, composition, colors, lighting and that line tree with a foggy backdrop is wonderful.. a Fav for me!
@mizhayz Thanks mizhayz, appreciate the kind comments and the fav! Passed the tree this morning and it couldn't have looked more different - all forlorn on a cold dark grey day! Pleased I got it yesterday.
