Ah! The wobbly bridge that didn't wobble according to the architects but did according to the secret report that I read over someone's shoulder on the train home (some people should be much more careful!)
Nice one Kev, the bridge nicely frames the buildings to the right but then leads the eye right to St Pauls. Is that with the Sigma 30mm jobby (thinking of splashing out) ...
@ch1ppy_m1nton Thanks Chippy. It wasn't the prime on this occasion, it was the 15-85. Would definitely recommend one though - the 30mm is a great focal lehgth on an APS-C, but the choice between he Sigma and the other three Canon lenses is really hard. The Sigma has a great max aperture, but is a bit soft wide open. It's autofocus can be a bit hit and miss wide open as well, but that's fairly normal.
BTY bought the 40mm Canon f2.8 at a knockdown price and that's really nice - manual focus is a bit funny - it's electronic - but it's pin sharp even wide open and it's tiny.
@dinasigtrix@guttersniperebecca@eyesmile@mak2 Thanks all - it is becoming quite an iconic bridge. There will be some nice shots to be had directly along it as well looking directly at St Paul's, but not with all the people on it IMHO.
Great shot!
