As I scrolled down and saw the lights and the arches I thought ..I know I will like this photo. Then I saw the gentleman with his walking stick and I melted. Love the whole scene and the tone and feel of it
This image really suits b&w Kev, and the clarity and amount of detail is superb.
Great timing to get the old boy right on the intersection of the thirds!
@mak2@joeboo@malc@johnmnewman@bardejov@sjoblues@atty88 A special thanks for the favs. I had about twenty minutes to get some shots whilst on business in London, so I waled down to St Pancras. Saw the arches, but couldn't believe my luck when I saw the old gent following his wife out of the station. I waited until he was under the last light as I was focussed on that an snapped away - fortunately he had no idea I was shooting him!
@plasticpilchard Thanks Nicola - whilst I only came across him for a few seconds, I definitely got the feeling that this old guy had some stories to tell!
A favorite of mine. You've captured a sense of loneliness in this photograph. It's hauntingly beautiful and I love that you chose B/w for the shot. It's wonderful.
@sabanford@ch1ppy_m1nton@gazbadger Thanks guys - it has been a nice way of hitting 100. Have to say it's been more successful than I thought it would be.
It's incredibly how, just by putting that man in the picture, you've added a whole new dimension of emotion into an architectural shot. I love how this turned out.

Thank you all for the kind feedback - it was a no-brainer to go b&w.
Thoroughly well deserved mate
