Oh man...I love this. We both did the early morning thing this week. It really pays off with an amazing element to shots. I think that fog MAKES photos. And you threw a flare in there as a bonus! Fav for me.
@amandal Thanks Amanda - I HATE getting up early with a passion, but there's no doubt it's worth it when it comes to photography. You're right about fog and mist as well - this mist here made me stop the car on the way to the bluebell woods - I just had to shoot it.
@snaggy Last year I got up once or twice per week to run at 6 AM and caught some amazing sunrises over our lake. I even toted my point and shoot a couple times and got some great shots. I hate mornings, too. I came so close to begging off when I saw the light of dawn the other morning.
@amandal Me too - I got up at about 5:30 (cos it was the only sunny morning in days) and had a look outside. It was beautiful - but I was sooo close to getting back in bed. So pleased I didn't though...
